The Bourbonnais Friendship Festival was founded in 1976 by a
group of individuals committed to bringing the community
together. Volunteers within the Friendship Festival organization
come from all walks of life and donate thousands of hours of work
each year to provide a safe, enjoyable Friendship Festival. They
take their commitment and dedication to the community seriously
and work tirelessly to enable the Festival Committee to meet its
goal of generating funds for local community projects.
The Festival Committee is in constant need of volunteers and
provides opportunities in a wide range of different skill areas for
individuals interested in supporting Bourbonnais and its surrounding communities. Participation on the Festival Committee is not limited
to an individual residing in the Village of Bourbonnais.
Volunteer all year long by becoming a director or serving on one of
our many committees that works from July to June to prepare for
each festival.
Work during the festival! We are always in need of talented people
to sell carnival tickets, set up events, work the hotline trailer and more.
